Truthfully, I do not LOVE exercise. Sure, I love I how I feel when I’m done, but generally, exercise really HURTS my body and exacerbates my aches and pains and I don’t look forward to it. When I start, I just want to get it over with. Being a contact-athlete for over 30 years, I have numerous back, knee and wrist injuries. Jumping-type cardio or pounding make my joints HURT terribly leaving me pretty limited with the level of intensity of exercise I can do.
I think a lot people my age are overwhelmed by exercise and dread it because in many cases, it aggravates our injuries beyond enjoyment or we are so out of shape, our extra weight doesn’t feel that great when we are jumping around.
Because of all my own injuries and limitations, I think I am MORE EXCITED than most, about PIYO! Primarily because, it’s a LOW IMPACT- HIGH INTENSITY at home fitness program.
