What Volunteering at a Homeless “City” is like by Neil Stanford

On March 23, Neil Stanford gave four hours of his day to volunteer feeding a “homeless” city with Tom Montgomery and some of his church members.  Neil shares in this video why he did it, how he felt, and what he learned.
Since then, Neil volunteers EVERY Monday morning from 10am-2pm, rain or shine.  Most recently, there was a family of four that recently lost their home and had no where to go and had just arrived to the homeless city.

These are two very short clips of capturing the “city”:

Homeless City Volunteer

We donated a bunch of clothes to a homeless shelter a few weeks back. Today, while Neil Stanford was doing his Monday morning charity work with Tom, providing food at the homeless city he saw this gentleman wearing one of his shirts.
